MONETIER LES BAINS - THE VILLAGE

At the foot of the Ecrins National Park the house has a magnificent view of the mountains and glaciers.

A large choice of walks are available from the house : the GR54 will take you up to the Eychauda lake or if you prefer to walk on the flat you can stay in the valley and walk to Le Casset for an ice cream (4km from the house).

The village centre is only 200m from the house where you’ll find a mini supermarket, butchers, bakery, restaurants, bars, chemists, newsagents, tabac, shops, etc.

Monetier les Bains, at an altitude of 1500m, is the perfect place for a family or group holiday during the summer season. For those who are looking for a sporty holiday you’ve got a huge choice of activities and for those who just want to chill out in the mountains, it’s perfect !!!
